We went to the Women's Garden again today, along with some local friends. Fun was had by all.
Besides places to walk around and picnic in, there is play equipment for children.

 I wasn't able to convince the children that we brought that Zadok would not enjoy a ride down the very tall, very hot slide, so as soon as I was distracted by trying to convince a chance acquaintance that I was from the U.S., not Iran, they took him to the top of the slide and turned him loose. No bones broken, no harm done.

One of our favorite activities is COLORS!

I love to watch Zadok and see which ones he chooses and how he puts them together. Sometimes I make suggestions.

I hope he always finds time to squeeze some art in between being a doctor and a pilot and a truck driver and a policeman.

It's alarming how much watermelon gets consumed around here during the summer months, especially since it's not Amos's favorite fruit and Zadok doesn't care too much about it either...

...He's more of a banana guy.

More alarming still was the amount of watermelon that Omar managed to cram into Zadok's mouth during our Eid visit  yesterday.

There was no stopping him.
