After six months of living the nomadic dream, we have a place to call ours, at least for a little while.

Unpacking was quick and easy. Zadok enjoyed the resonant properties of a well seasoned wood floor while we worked.

Zadok's new bedroom...

...And the kitchen, in the midst of being unpacked.

We're currently staying with the Clark family, who generously opened their home to us for the weekend, sight unseen...

...and now, ten days later, we're still here. Zadok and the little girls have been having lots of fun together though, and we've tried to make ourselves less obnoxious guests by cooking, doing laundry, and babysitting.

Still looking forward to a place we can call home for more than a few weeks at a time, but so thankful for friends and family who have made this extended transition time possible.

"Mommy," Zadok and Qorban at Andrew and Grace's wedding. Unfortunately we don't yet have any other pictures of this auspicious event, but it was wonderful. In lieu of ring bearer or flower girls, a procession of children too numerous to count  proceeded the bride carrying little flags. Zadok carried the Afghan flag.

Visiting Great Aunt Sarah in Chicago en route to St. Louis...it was just a short one this time, but we were all so glad we were able to make it happen. One of those things you can't wait too long on.
