The preparation of Zadok's food is an elaborate process. First the fruit or vegetable in question (in this case apricots) is washed and boiled until soft.
Then, it is mashed through this strainer by means of a metal spoon, thereby become very soft, almost like "real" baby food.
Then, (and this is the truly brilliant part) it is frozen in baby sized portions by means of an ice cube tray. The frozen cubes can be stored in a Ziploc bag until their time comes. I only have to thaw as much as he is likely to eat at one time, and I don't have to bother with making more baby food every day.
