Home again, and all together again at last!
Zadok and I had a wonderful time in Dushanbe, bumbling all over the city in a pale blue polkadot stroller.
Jessie (pictured with her two youngest daughters) was our hostess for the entire two weeks. We stayed in the little guesthouse in her yard, which came complete with sauna and "beer drinking room," neither of which Zadok or I ended up using.
Every day, Zadok was ready for new adventures and explorations. His eyes just got bigger and bigger. He's such a good little sport he even seemed to enjoy the stroller rides after he caught a nasty cold.
Soviet-style architecture is still very much in evidence--and it's not all from the past. This monstrosity is going up just a block or so away from the Chapin home.
More photos to come...
